EagleView

The Opportunity

Vista Group vested EagleView is a US-based company that specialises creating aerial views captured from space, using the highest resolution imagery, computer vision, and machine learning for the following four sectors: Government, Insurance, Real estate, Insurance. 

EagleView has spent the last 20 years pushing the boundaries of image capture and analysis. By experimenting with different aircraft, camera systems and applying computer vision, they continue to produce the highest resolution imagery available in the market today.
 
With over 200 patents covering image capture, structural measurement, and unmanned aerial vehicles, EagleView is constantly innovating. They provide customers with groundbreaking technical solutions that give them a competitive edge.

They had a need to set up an office overseas to increase their growth and expansion plans and to tap into newer talent pools.

The Challenges

Before entering the Indian market, EagleView had operations only in the US. They were able to create cutting edge patented technology with every product they created. 
But with their business growth and a need for affordable, niche and high-quality talent, they had to find better options. And India was a natural choice owing to the availability of highly skilled talent resources.

How We Helped

Initially, set up an offshore team of 55 people in India,  that included engineers, software product developers, architects and designers to develop different products and designs for each of the sectors they provide service to. 
In the last 18 months, the team doubled in size to about 110 people. 
We built a robust team of pure-play engineers who built the products in Bangalore, India and catered to the US market.

The Result

We were able to match the right kind of talent, with the right experience to build exclusive products, to match their niche needs. 
The engagement of pure-play engineers, in India, to develop products for the US market. All the products made in India are patented. 
Based on their brilliant performance, EagleView moved their entire development centre to Bangalore. Based on the output of their team and the confidence they instilled, EagleView is expanding its operations to Australia & Europe and will be using their offshore Indian team to cater to these needs as well.
